and this weekend in DC Region and Atlanta

?

Hi guys,
I thought about doing a video blog last night just to discuss the video below Collateral Murder but I felt that inappropriate. To lighten the mood i'd like to share some awesome things going on in the metro region this weekend.

The Annual Beer and Bourbon and BBQ Festival
I went last year and had a blast!

i
Tickets are available at the door for $40.  The general admissions portion of the festival begins at 2pm and ends at 6 pm. All you can "sample" beer and bourbon excellent BBQ and good music. This year the BBBBQ is expecting 60 different brews and 40 different types of bourbon. Think kid in a candy shop.
The festival takes place at Timoniun Fairgrounds. There is a free shuttle from Baltimore's Light Rail. I do not recommend buzz driving or drinking and driving. The constant 1/2 shots of bourbon are easily under estimated but beware they will sneak up on you.
Unfortunately advanced tickets are sold out, get there early to secure general admission.

Atlanta's underground music scene is chock-full of diversity in respect to R&B, pop, electro, hip-hop and more. The LEAK MUSIC FESTIVAL is a gathering of these genres and the artists who are emerging from the scene. Sponsored by Georgia State University's Black Student Alliance and Music and Entertainment Industry Student Association, the festival had more than 20 performers last year, including Jimi Cravity and Perfect Dissonance, who have since moved on to local and national fame. This year, the crowd can look forward to performances from featured Konvict Music artists Rock City and American Yard. Free. 5 p.m. Hurt Park, 100 Edgewood Ave. www.wix.com/theleak/musicfestival."
